So basically, I'm a nerd.
I've been selling fruit, and I was fascinated to find out that as passionfruit wrinkled (and got sweeter), they became lighter, so people were getting a better deal when the fruit was ripe.
I then began to wonder how much weight they actually lost.
So begin experiment.
I was using the same 3 passionfruit throughout this experiment.
12/3/2011 = 200gms
21/3/2011 = 185gms
5/4/2011 = 150gms
So over a period of 24 days, the passionfruit lost 25% of their weight.
Conclusion to help save $$ when buying passionfruit: Passionfruit are pricey enough as they are, so when purchasing, wait till they wrinkle. You save 25% or get 25% more for your purchase than those unwrinkled.
And to add to my nerdyness:
