I love weekends!

Yes, its true. It really is. Weekends are the most devine part of the week. The feeling when I leave work at 5pm (which normally turns out to be later) is so ahhh .. unexplainable. Its a different feeling to the other days of the week when I leave work too .. maybe because I know I have a whole two days without work :] hehe. Makes me happy. :)
Kay, so I got home on Friday night, and Mum, Dad, Gary and Steph were all getting ready to go to the rugby. I had planned a night with Davi, so once they left, and I was organised, I went and picked her up .. and we had such a fun night :) Had dinner, and a very fattening, big dinner of fish, chips and hotdogs before starving ourselves and going on the 40hours famine. Hehe which isnt actually that bad. I can't wait for my first meal though, which will be lunch tommorow. Bring it!!
We had a lovely conversation about all sorts of weird and wonderful things as good friends do. haha and then we decided we needed some updated photos... and this, my friends, was the outcome haha.

Saturday morning greeted us with a "thinking it was Sunday Morning" feel. I'm unsure why, but cracked me up. I decided when I awoke, that I would gather a bunch of friens together and go watch a movie in Thames, so I txt a few, and Lisa, Steph, Britt and myself jumped in my car as I drove to Thames. We watch 17 again, and for me it was AGAIN (such a great movie .. love it!). Coming home, Britt was telling me about this Movie called "Wild Child" that I had to watch and she said I could borrow her copy, so when I dropped her off, I picked up the video and went home and watched it on my lappy :) Ha, turns out I had already seen it, but I like the movie anywho.
And, as for the most weirdest thing about the weekend. Having somebody in the house who cant talk. It's actually hilarious. Stephs doing the 40 hour famine, no talking version. It's quite entertaining I must say. Hehe. I keep asking her questions, and then remember that she cant talk back. She normally results in writing it down, or typing it. She cracks me up :)
And so .. this weekend has turned out to be quite the fun one :]
Yayee.. and I must get to sleep.

I looked out ..

I looked out to the stars last night..
And it was amazing. It looked like a whole other galaxy. I should have tried taking a photo of it or something. There was faded patches of grey sky (instead of black) that were so bright. I looked all around up there, and it was just astounding. God is so amazing with the things he has made. So I stood there for such a long time, just looking at the night sky. Words can't even explain how beautiful it was :] And to think that heaven is going to better. I can't wait. Haha.

And my famine blog. Yes, I start the famine as of 8pm tonight. WooooH! I think I've been sponsored something like $120 or something like that. Can't say I'm looking forward to it much, but it shall be fun anyway, and the money all goes to world vision. Yaayee. :] I love my food so much. Haha. I figured out though, that I am actually only missing 2 meals, seeing as I dont eat breakfast.. So it should be a piece of cake. Dinner tonight will be my last meal :] Yikesss. Bring it!

Part 2!

Yes Yes YES!! Part 2 of my Bible College Application as been accepted! In other words, I have now been accepted into the other half of the year. This makes me happy, very very happy. And And And .. 2 girls that are going next year have contacted me :) So this is super exciting. Can't wait to meet them, and can't wait to go. Yayeee.

Nail Polish!

I painted my nails last night (well some of them - ha ha dont ask) and and, here comes the exciting bit, it wasnt just clear nail polish like normal! It's like this metallicy peachy pink colour, and I actually quite like it. So much more feminine now that I actually have nails. I'm indeed quite proud.
And tonight, my goal is to clean out my room. Like honestly, throw so much out. Im excited about the prospect.

So these past few days, I have been doing the design to my magazine (well my mock magazine) and I needed something for my testing and tempting article. This is what I came up with. What do you think?

Arhhh ... So frustrating

I have so many things that I want to put on my blog, mainly photos and stuff that I have on my computer at home .. but the lame this is that our Internet at home has been on and off (mainly off) for the past 2 weeks, and now its permanently down so I cant get on at all to do it, so here I am at work doing the lamest blog entry ever.
Can't wait till our Internet is fixed. The fix-it man (and no, not Bob the Builder) is apparently coming over today to fix it. Please fix it!

Pinch and a punch ..

for the first of the month and no returns. Ya gotta love being a kid really. I used to wake up on the first of every month and run around the house getting everybody before they got me. And then, it got even more exciting when I got to go to school and get all the kids in the school before they got me. It turned out to be quite a fun day.
But now, its different .. I didn't even realise it was the 1st of May today until somebody said it at work this morning. My inner kid wanted to jump out of me and run around the office pinching everybody. A bit unacceptable, so I refrained from looking like an idiot!
But today has been a spectacular first day of May (New Zealand Music Month). I got up an hour early (very out of the ordinary) at the sound of my alarm to make some cupcakes! Quick and easy, and tasty as well for our youth group cake stall tomorrow. Done in a flash, and then it felt like 10am, (when it wasn't even 8), so I did something extremely out of the ordinary. I went into the cupboard and put 2 pieces of toast in the toaster. Topped one with Vegemite, and the other tomato. Then, even more out of the ordinary, I put in another piece of toast. Yes, that's right, I had breakfast, 3 pieces of toast, the most important meal of the day. Go Me! :]
